3. 1. 2012

This year ABRA software also supported the competition Entrepreneur of the Year in Slovakia, promoted by Ernst & Young.

ABRA Software is already a traditional partner of the competition Entrepreneur of the Year in Slovakia. The competition that discovers and awards the best entrepreneurs, is promoted by Ernst & Young.

In the 2011 season, the Entrepreneur of the Year in the Slovak Republic prize was awarded to Ľuboš Fellner, founder and Director of BUBO travel agency, s.r.o. He received the award at a ceremony in Bratislava hotel DoubleTree by Hilton from the hands of Ernst & Young's lead partner Stano Jakubek, the promoter of the competition.

The title Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 in the field of innovation was awarded to Július Berith, one of the founders of Virtual Reality Media, a.s..

Martin Guttman from Tuli.sk, s.r.o. became the possessor of the title Beginning Entrepreneur of the Year 2011.

"The award means a lot for me, really much. I know we are a small company and I thought we did not have a chance to win. I was there when the barbed wire after the fall of totalitarianism was being cut and I still keep the wire somewhere – at that time, we had cut through to the outside and I think that is one of the reasons why our story is very good," said Ľuboš Fellner, possessor of the title Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 of the Slovak Republic.

Tomáš Bel, chairman of the jury and winner of the fifth season of the competition Entrepreneur of the Year 2010, comments on the decision of the jury: "The jury had reviewed over 30 entrepreneur stories. The criteria had been the personality of the entrepreneur, his story, strategic orientation and also financial results. The entrepreneur of the year Ľuboš Fellner is an example of an entrepreneur who believed in his dream and was able to build an already legendary company in Slovakia from scratch. His will to grow, be the best, as well as the courage to bring untested ideas to the market, line him up to those outstanding personalities whose stories deserve to be awarded."
